Job Title: System and Network Administrator

Job Description

▪ Installation, configuration and administration of server and client systems, mobile devices and the related services in the network, as well as ensuring trouble-free operation.

▪ Troubleshooting issues and outages.

▪ Ensuring security through access controls, backups and firewalls.

▪ Installation and configuration of software and hardware.

▪ Support and partial responsibility for the development and maintenance of server infrastructure including Windows and Linux systems.

▪ Manage network servers and technology tools.

▪ Set up accounts and workstations.

▪ Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.

▪ Participation in the planning, coordination and implementation of IT projects.

▪ Build up and development of know-how in the field of server and storage hardware.

▪ Support and development of database infrastructure.

▪ Email and endpoint security.

▪ Administration and provision of terminal services in the Windows environment.

▪ Creation, maintenance and management of technical documentation.

▪ Upgrading systems with new releases and models.

▪ Developing expertise to train staff on new technologies.

Key Attributes and Skills

▪ Successfully  completed university studies with a BSC in  information  technology, computer science or a related discipline.  Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus).

▪ Proven experience as a System and Network Administrator or similar role.

▪ Experienced and reliable use of MS Office programs.

▪ Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.

▪ Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.

▪ Structured and independent way of working and solution-oriented thinking.

▪ Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.

▪ In-depth expertise in client and server operating systems (Windows).

Experience with virtualization and backup techniques (VMware ESXi, Veeam) - Nice to have.

▪ Knowledge   of   system   security   (e.g.   intrusion   detection   systems)   and   data backup/recovery.

▪ Demonstrate relevant expertise in the areas of system and network administration.

▪ Very good knowledge of the Windows client and server operating systems.

▪ Operating System: Server (Microsoft Windows 2008/2012/2016).

▪ Operating System: Client (Microsoft Windows 7,10).

▪ Operating System: Server (CentOS 7,Ubuntu 14/16)-Nice to have.

▪ Databases: Management and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server.

▪ Endpoint Security: Enterprise Antivirus Solutions,Web & Mail Filtering.

▪ Very good knowledge of English and French.

▪ Excellent communication skills.
